Coregas Completes Acquisition by Nippon Sanso and Announces Future Strategy

Yennora, Australia – 1 July 2025 – Coregas Pty Ltd is excited to announce the successful completion of its acquisition by Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation (“Nippon Sanso”). With this milestone, Coregas is now officially part of the Nippon Sanso organisation, marking a new chapter in our journey.

As we move forward, Coregas will continue towards its vision of Changing Gases, Changing Lives by helping our customers achieve amazing things. Key focus areas for the new organisation will be:

  • Market Penetration & Growth Momentum: We aim to expand our presence in existing markets and explore new opportunities to drive growth. Our goal is to continue building on our strong national footprint and market-leading position in industrial, medical and specialty gases.
  • Operational Efficiencies: We will leverage synergies with our sister company Supagas to enhance our operational capabilities. This includes optimizing processes, “reducing costs, and improving overall efficiency to better serve our customers.
  • Digitisation and Service Enhancements: Coregas is dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our customers. We will focus on enhancing our service offerings through access to Nippon Sanso’s world class technology and innovation, ensuring we meet and exceed customer expectations.

New Beginnings

By integrating Nippon Sanso's world-class technology and deep technical capabilities, Coregas will continue to lead in the design and build of Air Separation Units (ASU) and other cryogenic equipment. This acquisition sees the strengthening of Nippon Sanso Oceania. The combination of Nippon Sanso, Supagas, and Coregas will create significant value for customers in the Australian and New Zealand markets. The Coregas business will remain and operate independently from Supagas as they have complementary strengths and focus on different customer segments with limited overlap in the product mix. Overtime, the combination of Nippon Sanso, Supagas, and Coregas will create greater value for customers and support further growth.
