How do gas swap prices compare to renting?
Despite the higher cost of gas when swapping cylinders, gas swap rates in New Zealand can be much cheaper than gas cylinder renting. Renting only becomes cheaper when the annual rental cost of the cylinders is covered by the savings from the lower refill cost. In most cases you would need to use a large volume of gas consistently to make the renting price cheaper than gas bottle swap price. You would also need to be more proactive with gas cylinder ordering, as you could not grab a gas bottle on the weekend from a stockist.

Types of gas bottles available for swapping
For the Trade N Go Gas™ range we have selected the gases that get most jobs done, without having to rent or buy the cylinder. Our gases include;
D size gas bottle refills are available across all our New Zealand stockists, while SE (E) and B size gas bottles are available at selected stores. Use our store finder to find gas bottles near you that suit your needs.
Coregas Trade N Go Gas ranges are a commercial product. We do not swap LPG bottles for residential homes or have information on 9kg gas bottle swap prices for home applications like BBQs. We stock LPG cylinders at great prices for our trade customers.
