Trade N Go Gas™ MIG Gas

MIG shielding gas is a premium gas used mainly for the MIG welding of carbon steel. It is great for clean, quality and economical welds.

Ar / CO2

Excellent arc stability with strong welds. The addition of carbon dioxide (CO2) improves the shape of the weld bead.

Uses

  • MIG welding of mild steel, stainless steel, low alloy steel and galvanised steel
  • MIG welding of metal plate, tubing, sheet metal, furniture and automotive
  • Minimal spatter, good weld appearance and good control make it ideal for positional welding
  • Commonly used to weld thicknesses up to 8mm, but note this also depends on the capacity of the welding equipment in use
