Nitrogen 3.0

Supplied as a compressed gas in cylinders or as a cryogenic liquid in bulk, the most common uses for this industrial grade nitrogen are shrink fitting, blanketing and purging

N₂

Nitrogen is inert to nearly all substances at ambient temperatures and in moderate conditions, which makes it ideal for inerting, purging and blanketing. In cryogenic liquid format, liquid nitrogen is often abbreviated to 'LIN'.

Uses

  • Blanketing or purging applications to displace or dilute other gas vapour
  • Pressure transfer of liquids
  • Sparging
  • Heat treatment
  • Tyre inflation
  • Shrink fitting
