Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I buy Trade N Go Gas carbon dioxide

Trade N Go Gas Carbon Dioxide is only avauavle a few selected locations. Please contact our customer service team for more information either by our online contact form or by calling 0508 267 342.

How is carbon dioxide stored?

Carbon dioxide gas should be stored in a very well ventilated place as even relatively small concentrations of CO2 can cause rapid adverse health effects or loss of consciousness. Cylinders should be stored upright and away from sources of heat to avoid the possibility of venting due to increased pressure.

Is carbon dioxide heavier than air?

Carbon Dioxide gas is roughly 1.5 times heavier than air, which means that in the event of a leak, the concentration of carbon dioxide gas in the air that is closest to the floor may increase considerably.

What does CO2 stand for?

CO2 is the chemical formula for carbon dioxide and indicates that each molecule of carbon dioxide gas consists of 1 carbon atom joined to 2 oxygen atoms.

Can you make CO2?

Commercial CO2 gas is produced as a by-product of various industrial processes that involve the combustion of natural gases (in industrial facilities where hydrogen and ammonia are produced). It may also be recovered from natural sources although this is not as yet a very cost-effective process.
